JD is the "J" J&D's BBQ. He and  his has passed on brother Delvon always had the dream of owning their own BBQ restaurant. After Delvon's untimely passing, JD  moved forward with their dream and officially started J&D's BBQ in 2017.  He prides himself in smoking and flavoring his meat so that the sauce is just a bonus. His talent and skills on the grill has made J&D's BBQ a San Francisco favorite and he aims to debunk that saying "there's no good BBQ in San Francisco."

JD and his team look forward to "bringing you that good ol' que", whether it be through a public sale or at  private catered event. ​​​
